Finding Your Courage

Sunnie Heddon, ’96 alumna

“I celebrate IPFW because I found myself there,” says alumna Sunnie Heddon. “As a young person, I was shy and never seemed to have my own opinions. My college experience with sociology, women’s studies, and a variety of other classes helped me become a real adult with my own beliefs.”

At IPFW, we think college should be about discovery–discovering new interests and passions, sure, but also discovering what you’re made of. Many students decide to take courses in new fields or join one of our 120+ student–led organizations to test their mettle, broaden their horizons, and make new friends they might not have met otherwise.

Either way, IPFW is a great place to find your courage to excel in ways you never thought possible.
