No Regrets in the Real World

Lisa Mungoyan, ’86 alumna

Lisa Mungovan has no regrets about her time spent at IPFW, and for good reasons. “I graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in organizational development,” she says. “Now I work in Human Resources, recruiting quality engineers for companies.”

College is a time of experiencing a variety of new events, opportunities, and going forth into the real world for the first time. IPFW makes this transition as easy as possible by providing educational opportunities, internships, career fairs, and services that will assist students in the working world.

Mungovan believes local businesses have benefitted from IPFW: “The university develops skills within the student,” she says. “In addition, IPFW is a community partner and develops future leaders.”

And what helps with students having the experience to go forth into the working world upon completion of their degree? “My professors had real life experience,” says Mungovan. “That made a huge difference.”
