IPFW in Poetry

Elizabeth Anderson, public

The English department at IPFW offers a variety of opportunities. With concentrations in language, literature, writing, and teacher certification, students receive a solid knowledge in liberal arts, communication, and writing. Graduates of this program have embarked on careers in teaching (both in secondary and higher education), marketing, civic organizations, and writing. The department also houses a graduate program for those students who want to pursue a Master of Arts. The English department fosters creativity, ideas, and allows students to bring their passion for this subject to fruition.

Elizabeth Anderson pays homage to IPFW in her original poem:

Is like a rose
You see,
Layer of
Well source for those
In our community.
Lectures, dance and
Keep our intellect keen
And the academics are
Any student’s dream.
To you we say
Keep your bright light
Illuminating our lives
In such delightful ways.
