IPFW as a Second Home

Kathryn Snyder, ’03 staff and alumna

For some people, IPFW is more than just a place to learn and work. IPFW can be a second home.

“I moved to Fort Wayne, graduated from IPFW, and began working here in 2003,” says alumni and current staff member Kathryn Snyder. Snyder works in the financial aid office, answering student questions, guiding them through the various types of aid, and helping them apply for loans and grants. Snyder obviously enjoys her job and working in the environment: “Ten years later, I’m still here!” she quips.

Snyder also feels a great amount of pride in IPFW: “I never really took in the other two universities I attended,” she explains. “I’ve never felt so at home as I do at IPFW and in Fort Wayne.”
