Finding Time for Romance

Tiffany (Martin) Werling, ’99 alumna

“I cherish the moments that I spent at the art department and am proud that I wore #9 for four years as a player,” says Tiffany (Martin) Werling, who played women’s volleyball for the Dons during her time at IPFW.

“Plus,” she adds, “I married Jason Werling. He is an IPFW basketball alumnus, proud to have worn #25 for four years.”

In addition to prestigious academics and an active student life, IPFW is home to 14 NCAA Division I athletics teams. Between classes, practice, and competing with rivals in the Summit League, it’s hard to imagine how our student-athletes could ever find time for romance, but then again, we know the Mastodons are made of tougher stuff than most.

Congratulations to Tiffany and Jason, and all the couples who met on our campus; from all of us at IPFW, a very happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours.
