Reason #21—October 13, 2014
Seven Minutes to Curtain

Lorraine Weier, public

Our campus hosts a wealth of events and opportunities for the community to get involved and keep up with local leaders in arts, culture, and education through events like theatre productions, Tapestry, and the Omnibus Lecture Series.

For local resident Lorraine Weier, IPFW offers a great chance to learn something new. “IPFW is the reason we stayed in Fort Wayne in retirement,” she explains. “We can leave our home and be in a seat at IPFW in seven minutes. Lifelong learning opportunities abound on campus and we are always welcomed by faculty and staff.”

In fact, Lorraine and her family make a point to show their appreciation for the great events and services on campus. “We support a drama scholarship annually.”
