Reason #40—February 23, 2015
No one Left Behind

Margaret Logan, ’13 current student

“My reason to celebrate IPFW is because the campus welcomes every human being. No one is left behind,” says current student Margaret Logan.

IPFW is deeply committed to diversity of all stripes. We believe that a campus climate that welcomes and celebrates diversity—be it race, religion, ancestry, background, or identity—is the best environment for students to learn and grow as individuals. As a result, IPFW hosts a variety of events and services to celebrate what makes each of us unique, all while strengthening our connections with one another.

“In my opinion, this campus wants to get to know the students, their interests, motives, expertise, and what drives them to study hard and keep coming for more education,” says Logan. “It’s a community that celebrates every race and makes it known that race is important and worthy to receive attention through the multicultural department which sponsors cultural celebrations.”
